Well, when Nani left, i will be taking over Yati's job fully and yati will go back to do her discharge, a position that she likes. i think she will be very happy with that arrangement. Or perhaps there may be some changes again. We have a new permanent staff who is a degree holder.
Every exit to the clinic has a temp staff doing scanning and their pay is also 6 bucks per hour. What they do everyday is just to scan passes of the staff going into the clinic. With their tons of free time, they chat around, surf the net, read some books or solve some sudoku puzzles to pass their time.
However, for me, i am getting the same pay as them, yet doing much more. Nowadays, work can be so busy that i have no time for a water or toilet break. There are temp staff in the call centre or working at other departments are getting 6.5 an hour. Though it is an additional 0.5 an hour, when accumulated, it can still be quite a lot to me. I am not a very rich person, and of course i wouldn't mind having more pay as i can be considered doing a full time job. I seriously think that i deserve more pay. =)
On the hand, those 'sanners' must have a hard time passing each day bah and i only see one importance in them. In case of a flu outbreak, the results will be used to quarantined people to prevent massive spreading. At least for my job, i do feel happy talking to different people on the phone even though i feel like strangling them some time. Also, for some really nice people, they do extends their thanks and that really make you feel good. Of course, that is a very small farction of poeple and it usually happens when their long waited MR is ready. However that is enough to keep me going.
Working in MRO exposes me to the weirdest situation that i have ever come across. for the first time, i realise that bank can overcharge. Eg, one bank in a cheque of 400, yet the bank can deduct 1400, an additional 1000 more. Before the pink i/c was issued, there was actually an old kind, which i have came across it. Now the photocopy of it is lying on my table waiting for me to settle the case when i return back to the office. You may think a doctor is a very organised person. However, something prove me otherwise. I have been to the doctor's office and it was a disaster, as if WWIII has occurred. Food containers, unfinished snack, papers, files were thrown everywhere. Thank god that for the patients that they see, they still have their doctor ethnics. Lols
that's all for today
