Too Rude!!!

Yesterday, around 5.30pm, I was on the bus 132. Everything was going on very peacefully until a girl rushed down the stairs and started pressing the bell profusely. By that time, the bus was already leaving the bus-stop. Since the bus did not stop, the girl went to the driver and told him to stop the bus to let her alight. Perhaps for some safety reason, the bus driver shook his hands, telling the girl that he could not stop. The bus could only stop by the next stop.

Soon, in less than a minute, the bus reached its next stop. The girl alight at that stop. Before, she stomped out of the bus, she pointed middle finger at the bus driver. At the moment, I shook my head and all the passengers on the bus stared at the girl.

In the very first place, it was the girl's wrong. She was wearing her grey school uniform, perhaps from a JC, and I believed that she was from some sports club or activities. She did not press the bell before the bus reached her stop. Even primary school kids know that. She only pressed the bell when the bus was already leaving the stop. It was her own fault yet she blamed the poor and innocent driver. Perhaps he should do some self-reflection. Everyone in the bus can be the witness.

Hmm.... Today is a day, full of mass revisions. We had English, Social Studies and Biology. We got back every exam paper except for chemistry. Very luckily, I managed to pass my English by 2 marks. Phew!!! My SS SBQ get 19/25 and I was so elated yesterday and I thought if I could get 17, I would get a B3 for my combined humanities. Somehow, things went wrong and I only get 16 because my part b was only given L2/6. Haizzz!!! I just need that 1 mark to jump grade. Also for biology, this was my first time that I failed my section B and get a B3 for it. Biology has been my forte and I will usually ace it but I slipped my hands this time.

Well, results are as follows:
English - C6
Chinese -A1
Emaths - A1
Amaths - B3
Biology - B3
Chemistry - unknown
Physics - C6
humanity - B4
L1R5 total : ~18
See with 18 pts, which good Junior Collage can I go to. Hiazzz! Now "ting tian you ming". Let the fate decide and see what can I do.

An Unlucky Day

Yesterday was a very bad day. Not that I want to point finger at the cat, I think it had brought me some bad luck. Yesterday had started fine and everything was going on as usual. When it was recess time, I missed my steps and slipped down the stairs. Oh gosh! I had sprained my right ankle in that fall. Quickly, my fellow friends came to my rescue. Reaching the ground floor, I was given a bag of ice to put on my injury to reduce to swelling as vasocontriction takes place.

That day, I felt like I was the centre of attention. All my friends crowded around me, giving me their concern and some of them even skipped their recess to accompany me so as to make sure that I was alright. Going up and down the stairs, I even had my friends to carry me. They were so thoughtful and caring and I really thank them from the bottom of my heart. Thanks!

From this injury, I had also learnt one thing from Sherylnn. Putting the ice into the socks, the wrap it at the wound. Lastly put the end and the 'head' together as you know that socks are elastic. Also when one had a sprained ankle, he/she can apply the RICE method. Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate. You can visit this webbie for more information.

By evening, I went to see the T.C.M. (traditional Chinese medicine) doctor. She bandaged my ankle with some weird smelly and black medicine. She said that I have a slight crack of the bone, near the ankle. Guess these few weeks I cannot run and jump about.

Today, I'm very happy because I finally get a B3 for my additional maths. I always the one that will always get a C, but this time, it seems so different. I was really very happy. The highest score in the history of my report book. Yea! Looks like my effort had not been wasted after all.

Papers bombed right into my face!

Today did not seem to be my lucky day. It had already started with bad omens. Early morning, while I was on my way to school, I already having a stomachache. As I was crossing the bridge, I saw a bird chirping happily on the tree. Just as I crossed the brigde, something shocked me. I saw a black dead cat lying on the ground. Its eyes were still opened and so was its mouth. The sight disgusted me and I felt pity for the dead cat. May the cat has a good life in the other world.

At the start of the day, we got back our geography paper. It was a total disaster just like what the Hurricane Katrina did. I only got 28.5/50. It was quite unexpected of it as I did the paper with confidence. Also, things that I leant from the textbook is wrong. The textbook wrote ' Local workers working in MNCs were lowly paid ' and so I wrote it on the answer script. When the paper came back, the teacher marked a big cross and wrote ' In fact, they are very well-paid'. I didn't realize that i had leant the wrong thing.

After the geography paper, we gotten back the physics paper. As expected, i did not do well. But luckily i did manage to pass it by pathetic 3 marks. My MCQ failed while my other papers just passed. Guessed after today, I need to put in a lot, a lot more effort into my physics to save it from failing and to get at least get a B. Yiyu managed to secure a B3! Yea! Grats to her.

Later in the day, my luck is a bit better. Our Mathematics teacher, Mr Koh us the marks for our Emaths Paper 1. Oh god! I've gotten 71/80. I was so delighted. Phew! At least, now i can know that i'll get at least a B3 or A2 for Emaths if all things goes on smoothly.

During English class, I was called to the back of the classroom. Then our teacher told us that we've won something. That prize was from the SEAMOU regional website competition and Singapore had won the most cooperative group. WE gotten ourselves a student package of Encarta and a certificate. Ms Loo said that we had to go up to the stage and get the prize from our principal, Mr Boo tomorrow. I am so nervous.

Next week will be my brother's examination. It just seems that I will not blog these few days as when the computer is switched on, my brother will be distracted, thus my mother do not allow me to do so. Today I can have only 2 hours to be in front of the computer. That is just so unfair. Even for my television, I can only watch for 1 hour only. Sad =(

Wednesday, we'll be having NE quiz. Now I've got to gather some information about Singapore like the presidents we have, total defend and blah blah blah... Cya next time! =)

ReLaX

Yesterday was a very relaxing day. Exams are just over and finally, i can catch a few breathes before getting back into my pace again to preparre for the O level Examinations.

There was still school yesterday and so as usually, got up very eraly in the morning with my heavy eyelids and dragged myself to school. On the way to school, while crossing the overhaed bridge, something caught my eyes. There was an uncle, in his fifties, riding an unicle on the bridge. It was an amazing feat. He was already very old, with his hair all white and yet he could cycle on the bridge and balancing it. Perhaps, when we're old, we should learn from his spirit - to be young at heart.

Then the school had arranged post-exams activities for all of us. It is some carrer fair thingy and JC talk. The talk was on the JC life in Yishun JC. Well, the speaker, Mr Caleb Lee, did his best to present it to us, but somehow, he failed to engage and catch our attention. The VP seems to be a very busy person. When we asked him about some things, he rushed through his answers and he gave me a feeling that he was very sacastics.

In the carrer fair, we met two persons. A lady named, Selene, from NYP. she was very friendly and very sociable as well. We talked to her as if we had already known each other for years. Then she told us that the very next day will be her birthday, so we bought her a 'Hello Panda' and sang her a soft happy birthday song. As for the the other guy we met, he was from TP. he was wearing all white that day, that we decided to call him the 'white horse'. He came over to us, promoting a camp"YP Rawks". Actaually before that, a lady had asked us to join, but unfortunately, we had already joined the Ngee Ann Camp which will clash with the TP camp. He then starts to talk a lot. Not wanting to disappoint him, we then signed up but we will never go.

The career talks were very successful. The speakers were very humourus and we laughed till we nearly roll off the chairs. One of the talk was 'DISC-over yourself' . Using DISC, one will find out which group he belongs to and the job that will match him. Well, i belong to the S group, a group that likes to mix and interact with people. Some of the jobs including phychologist, zookeepers, teachers, socail workers and even FUNERAL DIRECTOR!!! Lol!

straight after school, i went home. When exams are over, i felt so strange. Suddenly, my mind was in a blank, my hands had nothing to do and time passed by so slowly. Then i decided to play neopets. Heard from Yiyu that there is a daily altator king's plot quest. Upon finished, one gets freebies from the king. the quest is an easy one but it was so difficult to me. I spent 3 brain-wreacking hours just to find a certain constallation but to no avail. But for yiyu, it was just a piece of cake. In the end, i decided to give up.

Now, my mum likes to play the neopet jackpot. that jackpot get the winnings very differently from the usual jackpot. till now, i still cannot find how a person can win. If you have a neopet account, please do visit my shop. I do sell a lot of chocolates and candies and your neopets will be sure to love it. =)

EXAMS OVER!!!

Yeah! Exams are finally over. Finally, I can have some time to have a little fun. The last paper today was Biology paper 1. We're given an hour to do, but most of my classmates finished in the first 20 mins, which was 1/3 of the time given. Soon after they finished, they started lying on the table, going to their dream paradise.

As for me, I sat by the door side so I can watch the matches that was going below at the basketball court which was only very near to the hall. Looking afar, there is also a patch of green, the lush green trees which make the eyes so comfortable. Then I started doodling on my question paper and time was up.

I reach home about 0920 today, which is really very early. Somehow, I have gotten over maplestory and started playing back neopets. So I play the games each day to earn some money so I can restock my goods. I will usually buy from the chocolate factory or the rock pool and resell them away. Upon resell, I will earn about 100 to 1k of profit. Though the profits are very little, if I accumulate them, then I'll be rich. So please do visit my shop . All my items price are checked against the wizard, so you will have no worries about being scam by me.

There's a new game called 'Eye of the Storm'. The game is rather stupid but one can earn fast money. Too bad that the limit is only 1000np max and one can only play for np, 3 times a day.
This is my neopet, i guess he is evolve from the penguin. He is called babybruce_smile and he's kinda cute and he has graet defence. I must thank the Coltzan for doing levelling my my pet's defence.

For the different subjects I've come up with 'dishes' that matches them.

English = heavy 2-course dinner, hard to digest
Emaths = My favourite maggi mee which I finish in a few gulps
Amaths = Delicious chicken chop ( Look easy to eat but don't know how to use fork and spoon)
Biology = Expecting a bowl of salad, full of fruits and vegetables
Chemistry = Nicely done fish and chip but with some bones
Physics = Spicy Hot minipot ( can't digest, perspire all over)
Geography = Spring roll with a lot of surprises inside
Social studies = A scumptious Italian dish which I don understand

Haizzz

*Yawn* I've just woke up from from my beautiful nap. The weather is just so nice today, a little drizzling with the cold breeze blowing at times. The temperature ranges 23/29 degree ceilius which is a seldom temperature for the hot and sunny Singapore.

finally, today is Friday. I've been waiting for this day to comes since Monday. Not that today is a special but after Friday means weekend and I get to let my hair down and sleep through the wonderful morning.

This morning, I've 2 examinations. Amaths paper 1 and physics practical. For my maths paper, a Chinese saying that goes 'xiong duo xi shao' meaning more harm than bless. I already got myself prepared if I fail the paper, but there's still a paper 2 which means that I work harder, there will be a chance for me to pass.

As for the physics practical, it was HELL! I don't know if it is me who got the values wrongly or is it that I drew the graph wrongly. Also, perhaps there was some misunderstandings among the teachers that That were not told that we had to exchange experiment after 45 min. In the end, we spend almost an hour on our first experiment. My first experiment was the electricity one which was the easier of the two. Thus I finished up very fast.

As for the second experiment that was about tension, force and the tan delta was a harder one. I only have 30 mins which is not enough. If I have another 15mins, I can get another more accurate values. ARGH! Both my end results are all so weird and I doubt I will pass. Just hope that my other examinations will be better....

Long time no see

It's been more than a week before my last entry. Though last week was holidays that meant rest for any other people, but for me, I had to slog my hearts out as the week after the holiday which means this week, I'm having my exam. I had to prepare and revise through the 2-yr syllabus which is a tough chore to me.

After a few days of studying, my mood to study went off and my brain was not there as well, but I had to force myself to carry on. It seems to me that I do not study for the passion nor the interest I have for that subject, i just study for te sake of studying and for examinations. This make studying so oring and it just seems the forever hard.

Time, crawled like a snail, when i tried my very best to revise, but it flies like it had never before when i was playing. To me, i just did not have enough time to go through all 8 subjects altogether. But thankfully, for the first 2 papers i had today, it was quite all right still. Though i did not have the confidence to pass with flying colours but i believe the very least i still can get a pass. The exam period will last for 2 weeks and tomorror's paper will be the toughest Physic Paer 2 and Geography. Just hope that my little revision will not to go to waste.

After this exam, the very next one that will follow quickly will be the GCE 'O' Level Examinations. There is no time left to play and we just got to work harder and harder each day for the day that we have prepared for 4 years. All the best to everyone! =)

Be the WaRRioR Euu Are

From the "dictionary.com" , warrior is defined as a person who shows or has shown great vigor, courage. In everyone's life, there is warrior, the spirit to fight, refusing to surrender, not giving up till the very last and the warrior is the person himself.

Life is not always a bed of roses, there are times of when one lives in the hell of sufferings and times of one in the seventh heaven, enjoying life. Though there are some things that are predestined, I believe that that fate lies in our hands.

When we are in times of depression, it's the warfare between fate and us, homo-sapiens. Fate, the devil, will always make fun of us, making lives difficult for us, but it is up to us to fight it back. Though we may have no weapon, our best weapon will be the belief that we belief in and we will hold on to it till our very last breath.

The fight may be a tough one, but every fight is a good opportunity. It will put one to challenge, if one can overcome it, he will definitely learn a lot of lessons of life. But when fail, musters the courage and fight again. With the strong belief one holds, he will success one day. Those who fail and cannot pick up themselves are the true losers. They have surrendered to fate. They will have to find their goal again and continue fighting.

Everyone is a warrior, fighting all the time. Fighting for their dreams, fighting for a chance to study in a top college and so on. As long as we do not give up, I believe that success is ours! =)
