LTC Week

This is the LTC week. Almost spending the same time with all the participants in school except that we did not stay overnight because Mr Lee don't allow us to. Overall, it was quite well done. The camp was a fun, tiring and full of obstacles and some say it was inspiring. I am now trying to find ways to upload the LTC Video, so everyone can have a look at it.

On the first day, the only fun thing was the morning ice breakers, where they played the egg, chicks and chicken game and all sorts of games. Followed that was series of talks. I guessed a lot of people had benefited from it from discovering their inner abilities or managed to catch a wink. So the first day was quite a boring day for us. The only main duty was the auditorium sound system and that's the end of it.

On the 2nd day was a more thrilling day. I was out on duty in some forest ( one that cannot be mentioned) but it's the northern part of it which i never went before. So together with Syn Yeow, Camillus and LiWei, we overcame steep slope, lots of hills, mud, rocky paths and the 7-storey Tower.
They had the war game and the teams i tagged along, all of a sudden, the attacker team all died, thus not much footage was caught. Then after that, we met with a paranoid park ranger that thought that infra-red can cause forest fire... .... ... I think he never passed his science papers. If the infra-red from the guns can cause forest fires, the the flash from our cameras can cause a total destruction of forest. ROFL... Luckily, Mr Tan Jek Suan came in time to solve all the problems and afternoon programme still continues.
Afternoon programme was named as Treasure Hunt, but there isn't any treasure to hunt, I think it should be named as rotational games. Haha. Lunch was pathetic. Either the school is on a too tight budget or the teachers are on diet. 2 pieces of white bread, an apple, a banana were what we have only. What a "healthy" meal when output>input. We tagged along Ryan's group. Their first station is to climb the 7 storey tower, of course with some restrictions. On going up, Jonathan carried Ryan, on coming down, Ryan carried Jonathan. The games overall was really fun. By the time when we were on the bus returning back, i fell asleep.

3rd day was the editing day. Mainly, stuck in the Presentation studio doing the editing of the actual day video. Though i was not going for excursion, i reached there at 7am, to settle the food, the people going out and some administrative stuffs. The photo side screwed up somehow, but luckily still have the end product.
Anyway, the organizers put in a scolding or punishment sessions. After all, camps are not supposed to be all fun. Together with it, there must be some hardships. Their punishments came in all kinds of styles (each group is different) like staking the chairs from the canteen and put back again in 12 mins or backward running round the tracks holding hands together. As Jonathan was caught for HP, his whole group had to carry him and ran the Piazza 30rounds. Heard him saying that he was very touched till h e cried.
Since there was so many things going on, the videographers and photographers were sent out to capture the precious moments. In the end , everyone was being cursed and swore at. After everything, they were told that the things they did was only to leave them some memories. That day, we stayed till like 9+ pm before we went home. Tired...

Finally, today is the last day. The good thing was the montage was ready on time. When I saw the audience clapping and laughing at the clip, i felt so satisfied. This kind of feeling can never be bought with money. After the whole thing, we all went out to TPY burger king for lunch, something like a celebrating lunch. Then actually, wanted to catch Pirates 3 ( The world's end), but the seats were full. Who knows, my parents, just returned from china, bought a bag of DVDs including the pirates 3, Shrek 3, Bean holiday, Norbit and some more. Don't worry. It's legal de.
I was actually planning to sleep, when looking at the temptations of the DVDs, i watched Shrek 3, in the end, i fell asleep in the middle of it. So after dinner, i continued it and watched Bean holiday. Haha... funny movies.
