Technology

In this world of ours, everything is related to technology. The computer i am using now, the network that i am in , blogging all require technology. Technology has indeed makes our lives much more convenience. Now, we do not have to walk, there's something call motor cars. Now we do not have to write our work, we can type and can even print in copies. It also cut short our waiting time. A message can be send across from one side to the other side of the globe in just a second. At times we have relied on technology too much. If anything die, we are in troubles, and recently, i have experience the problem of having too much reliance in it.
On that fateful Sunday, my SIM card crashed and so my mobile phone is not able to use. What does no mobile phone means to me? It meant i am cut off from the rest of the world (my friends). My friends all have my mobile no but not my house no, thus if they want to find me, i got no idea how are they going to. My phone is also my MP3. Thus, the following morning bus journey, it is very quiet, there's no music to accompany me to go to school. My phone is also my alarm clock. That night, i dared not sleep too deep, scaring that i maybe late for school the next day. My calendar and other miscellaneous stuffs are all inside but most importantly is my CONTACTS. I lost all of them...
Then on Thursday, my telephone line died. My telephone line died together with my internet. Of all days, it had to be spoiled on the day before handing up my PI... Wth.... My PI is saved in the invisible space of technology. It can only be accessed online so when my internet crashed, i had to do my editing all over again. Thank goodness, i had a latest copy in my computer, or else i will die. But anyway, after editing on my computer, the word count did not match the one i did in the school computer lab which meant i had missed out some points.
Then i had to put it in the template. No internet, cannot download the file from COL@C, so i drew it on my own, but it was still not correct as i missed out the big rectangular box which my contents supposed to be inside. After doing, the work has to be printed out because the examiner won't access the files online or the soft copy, thus my printer had to start working. I don't know for what reason, my printer went on strike. The ink that came out is like ... ... Argh!!!
Technology has made me very lazy. Like now, i don't have to remember telephone numbers. I don't have to remember special events, because my calendar will do the job for me. Technology has created many problems for us also such as the pollutions that comes from the cars and factories. Mother Earth has become very sick because of them. Perhaps man has become too clever, and they will be reaping what they have sowed in the near future.
Because of technology, everything is so convenient, but we had become lazier, which is not so good for our body. We're somehow getting fatter as we do not need to do work manually as before. Last time, each piece of good work, requires a lot of time to produce. But now, with the aid of technology, everything is moving on so fast, so fast that we had become very impatient at times because everything is about speed.
It is natural for organisms to adapt in the environment for example, the polar bears and penguins have bubbler to keep them warmth, and the cacti have needle-like leaves to prevent excessive water loss. However, for us homo sapiens, we do it the other way round. When it's hot, we turn on the air con to make the environment cooler, when it's cold, we turn on the heater. We depend on technology too much. If one day, we are to go back to stone age, will we be able to survive out in the wild?

One thing, finally the Pi is settled. Yea! Thanks Joshua and Mr bala for your help with the troublesome PI!!! =)
