Chicken Pox

It's been a really long time since I last blog. Today is the beginning of O level examinations. In the morning was Emaths 1 while in the after was SS. Everyone was here except Yi Yu. Unfortunately, she caught chicken pox. She was really unlucky to catch it at this important period of time. ShiHui said that chicken pox takes two weeks to recover and 2 weeks from now will be the end of examinations. Yi Yu then has to go to a centre to take the examinations alone. She was confirmed on Saturday and she had to abstain from food. Not being a meat lover, she has a lot of things that she cannot eat which includes beans and garlic which is a very often used to make the dish more yummy. Hope that she will get well soon. Jia you!

Emaths 1 was a piece of cake today except that i make a silly mistake. I forget that 0 IS AN INTEGER! well, that will cost me 1 mark. Hope that i do not have too many careless mistakes. As for SS, i screwed up. I spent too much time on SBQ but it was quite well done. thus i had only 30 min for SEQ. I chose qns 4 as that was the only chapter that i studied came out. In the end, i crap up the whole paper.

It asked something like that:
a)Do you agree that National Education is foster social cohesion?
b)" Welfare state is wrong." Do you agree?

My answers look like this:
a) NE
- Teach racial tolerance, national symbol(universal brotherhood)
- Bilingualism (English to communicate)
- Pledge-taking and singing of national anthem

b)Wrong to large extent
- Low efficiency
- No motivation
- High tax ( drive off businesses)
No time to finish...

The examiner started 30 s later but ended punctually. IF i had 30s, i able to write at least a one-sentence conclusion which is better than nothing. Grrr....!

Thank god, tomorrow, i have no examinations. Good luck to those taking Chemistry ( Science) and Yi Yu will get better.
